Meet Kristyn Mark
Founder & Principal Designer
Kristyn Mark is the Founder and Principal Designer of Mark Design Co. With more than a decade of experience in the interior design industry, she is recognized for creating timeless homes that are deeply personal, thoughtfully layered, and designed to be lived in for generations. Her approach begins by understanding how each client lives, gathering insight into their routines, values, and aspirations to create interiors that feel effortless, refined, and uniquely their own.
Drawing on her background in both Visual Communications and Interior Design, Kristyn brings a balanced perspective that blends architectural thinking with an instinctive eye for proportion, texture, and detail. She believes exceptional design is never about following trends, but about crafting spaces that evoke emotion while seamlessly supporting everyday life. From custom new construction to transformative renovations and complete home furnishings, Kristyn leads every project with a commitment to thoughtful collaboration, meticulous execution, and an unwavering dedication to quality. The result is a home that feels sophisticated yet welcoming—a timeless reflection of the people who call it home.
Outside of her professional life, Kristyn cherishes time with her family whether at home or exploring new destinations in their RV!

Senior Project Manager
Bianca Paonessa is the Senior Project Manager at Mark Design Co. With nearly a decade of experience in the interior design industry, she is dedicated to transforming ideas into beautifully executed spaces. She believes that great design is deeply personal, creating homes that tell a story through thoughtful details, functionality, and timeless aesthetics. Bianca is passionate about guiding clients through every phase of the design process, ensuring each project is as seamless as it is inspiring. In her free time, she enjoys attending car shows, biking along the beach, and exploring local coffee shops.
Tanya
Project Manager
As Project Manager at Mark Design Co., Tanya brings over a decade of interior design experience, combining technical expertise with thoughtful design to create spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from California State University, Long Beach, and was honored with the Student Design in Architecture/The Bentley Mills Portfolio Award from The Royal Society of Arts U.S. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised in Redondo Beach, Tanya has a deep appreciation for architectural history and timeless design. She specializes in space planning, material selection, construction documentation, and custom furniture and millwork, bringing each project to life with precision and attention to detail. Outside the office, Tanya enjoys biking along the beach, traveling, and spending time with her boyfriend and their beloved cat, Biskits.
Elisabeth
Junior Designer
As a Junior Designer at Mark Design Co., Elisabeth brings creativity, curiosity, and a detail-oriented approach to every project. With an Associate's Degree in Interior Design, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing, and experience in a design showroom, she combines technical expertise with a passion for residential design. She specializes in creating realistic 3D renderings that help clients visualize their future homes with confidence. Elisabeth is committed to thoughtful design, exceptional client service, and creating beautiful spaces that enhance everyday living. Outside of work, Elisabeth enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends, expanding her vinyl record collection, and finding design inspiration through travel and everyday experiences.
Callie
Design & Operations Support
Callie is the Design & Operations Support at Mark Design Co. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, she moved to California to pursue a career in the commercial dance industry before discovering a natural evolution into interior design. Her background in dance, costume design, and performance styling cultivated an appreciation for movement, balance, and visual storytelling, principles that continue to inform her approach to thoughtfully designed spaces. Callie completed UCLA Extension's Interior Design & Architecture Program and is fascinated by the profound influence a beautiful home can have on a person's emotional well-being and everyday experience. Outside of the studio, Callie enjoys sewing, furniture restoration, and spending time in nature, always finding inspiration through creativity and the world around her.
